3.2 Under what circumstances do we process your data?

We treat your data confidentially and in accordance with the purposes defined in this privacy policy. We ensure a transparent and proportionate processing.

If we are exceptionally unable to comply with these principles, the data processing may still be lawful if there is a justification. Justification may include:

  • Your consent;

  • The performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures;

  • Our legitimate interests, provided your interests do not outweigh them.

3.3 How can you revoke your consent?

If you have granted us consent to process your personal data for specific purposes, we will process your data within the scope of this consent, unless we have another justification.

You may revoke your consent at any time by sending an email to the address mentioned in the imprint. Already completed data processing is not affected by this.

3.4 In which cases can we pass your data on to third parties?

a. Principle

We may be required to use the services of third parties or affiliated companies and to commission them to process your data (so-called processors). Categories of recipients include:

  • Accounting, fiduciary and auditing companies;

  • Consulting firms (legal advice, taxation, etc.);

  • IT service providers (web hosting, support, cloud services, website design, etc.);

b. Visiting our social media channels

We may have embedded links to our social media channels on our website. This is visible to you (typically through corresponding symbols). Clicking on the symbols will redirect you to our social media channels.

The social media providers will learn in this case that you accessed their platform from our website. The social media providers may use the collected data for their own purposes. We would like to point out that we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data and their use by the operators.

c. Data transfer abroad

In certain circumstances, in the context of processing orders, your personal data may be transmitted to companies abroad. These companies are obligated to the same extent to data protection as we are. The transmission may take place worldwide.

If the level of data protection does not match that of Switzerland, we will carry out a prior risk assessment and contractually ensure that the same protection as in Switzerland is guaranteed (e.g., through the new standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission or other legally mandated measures). If our risk assessment is negative, we will take additional technical measures to protect your data. You can retrieve the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission at the following link: https://commission.europa.eu/publications/standard-contractual-clauses-controllers-and-processors-eueea_en

3.5 How long do we retain your data?

We only store personal data as long as necessary to fulfill the specific purposes for which the data was collected.

Data that we store during your visit to our website is retained for twelve months. An exception applies to analytical and tracking data that may be stored for longer.

Contract data is stored longer as we are required to do so by legal regulations. We must, in particular, retain business communications, closed contracts, and booking receipts for up to 10 years. If we no longer need such data from you to fulfill the services, the data will be blocked, and we will only use it for accounting and tax purposes.

3.6 How do we protect your data?

We will securely store your data and take all appropriate measures to protect your data from loss, access, misuse, or alteration.

Our contractual partners and employees who have access to your data are obliged to comply with data protection regulations. In some cases, it may be necessary for us to forward your requests to affiliated companies. Even in these cases, your data will be treated confidentially.

Within our website, we use the SSL method (Secure Socket Layer) in conjunction with the highest encryption level supported by your browser.

3.7 What rights do you have?

a. Right to information

You can request information at any time about the data we store about you. We ask you to send your request for information along with proof of identity to support@beyond-tickets.com.

You also have the right to receive your data in a commonly used file format if we process your data automatically and if:

  • You have granted your consent for the processing of this data; or

  • You have disclosed data in connection with the conclusion or execution of a contract.

We can restrict or refuse the release of information or data if this is contrary to our legal obligations, legitimate interests, or those of a third party.

The processing of your request is subject to a legal processing period of 30 days. However, we may extend this period due to a high volume of requests, for legal or technical reasons, or because we need further details from you. You will be informed of the extension in a timely manner, at least in textual form.

b. Deletion and correction

You can request the deletion or correction of your data at any time. We may reject the request if legal regulations require us to retain the data longer or unchanged or if a legal basis contradicts your request.

Please note that exercising your rights may conflict with contractual agreements and may have corresponding effects on the execution of the contract (e.g., premature termination of the contract or cost consequences).

c. Legal recourse

The competent supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner: https://www.edoeb.admin.ch

  • The name of your internet service provider;

  • Your IP address (if applicable);

  • The version of your browser software;

4.2 Google Ads Conversion Tracking

We use the online advertising program "Google Ads" on our website and within this framework, the conversion tracking (visit action evaluation). Google Ads Conversion Tracking is an analytical service of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google").

If you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set on your device. These cookies have a limited validity, do not contain personal data, and thus do not serve personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you have clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page.

The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics. Here, we learn the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to a page equipped with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive information that allows us to identify users personally.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate technical settings in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to fully utilize all functions of this website. You will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

Furthermore, you can deactivate personalized advertising settings in Google. Instructions for this can be found at https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155764.

4.3 LinkedIn Ads

We use advertising services from LinkedIn on our website, a service of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland ("LinkedIn").

LinkedIn uses cookies and similar technologies to display ads based on your previous visits to our and other websites. This allows us to measure and optimize the effectiveness of our advertising measures.

The information collected through LinkedIn Ads is anonymous to us, meaning we do not receive personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by LinkedIn, allowing for a connection to the respective user profile and enabling LinkedIn to use the data for its own advertising purposes according to LinkedIn's privacy policy.

If you are a LinkedIn member and logged into your LinkedIn account while visiting our website, the data collected through LinkedIn Ads will be linked to your LinkedIn account.

The use of LinkedIn Ads serves the purpose of analyzing and optimizing the effectiveness of our advertising measures. The data processing is based on our legitimate interest in targeted advertising and the analysis of the impact and effectiveness of this advertising.

4.4 MailChimp

For sending newsletters and email notifications, we use the MailChimp service offered by The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, the data you provide and your email address will be transferred to MailChimp, stored, and processed. This allows us to send you regular updates, offers, and information.

By subscribing to the newsletter, your IP address and the date of subscription will be stored. This storage serves solely as proof in case a third party abuses an email address and subscribes to the newsletter without the knowledge of the rightful owner.

MailChimp offers extensive analytical capabilities regarding how the sent newsletters are opened and used. These analyses are group-related and are not used for individual evaluation by us.

The data stored at MailChimp will be deleted as soon as you unsubscribe from our newsletter. This does not affect data that is stored with us for other purposes.

MailChimp has its own privacy policies and practices that may differ from those of our website. If you visit our website, a cookie may be set on your device through Meta Ads, allowing for an analysis of your website usage. Additionally, Meta can track your user behavior across different websites and devices using this cookie and may display personalized ads based on that.

The data collected by the cookie is transmitted to Meta and stored there. This data may be linked to your Meta account (formerly Facebook account) and used by Meta for its own advertising purposes.

To generally refuse the use of cookies on your computer, you can adjust your internet browser settings to prevent future cookies from being placed on your computer or to delete already stored cookies. However, disabling cookies may cause some functions of our website to no longer function correctly.

If you are a TikTok member and logged into your TikTok account while visiting our website, the data collected by the pixel will be linked to your TikTok account.

Google Tag Manager itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-free domain and does not process personal data. The service triggers other tags, which may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation is performed at the domain or cookie level, this remains for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

By using Google Tag Manager, scripts (so-called tags) can be automatically activated on our website, and data can be transmitted from your browser to Google. This data may include information about your IP address, the browser you are using, the subpages you visit on our website, and other interactions during your website visit.
